To the City of Reno Code Enforcement Department,
I am writing to formally report significant environmental damage and public nuisance violations at the property located behind the Walgreens at 10370 N McCarran Blvd in Reno.
The area is experiencing a severe problem with an accumulation of trash, debris, and human waste, which I believe constitutes a serious health and safety hazard. The situation appears to be a result of encampments by the homeless population in this area.
Specific Issues
-
Accumulation of solid waste:
Large amounts of garbage, discarded materials, and personal belongings are creating an unsightly and unsanitary environment. -
Environmental contamination:
The presence of human waste and other pollutants poses a direct risk to public health and the local ecosystem, including potential runoff into nearby waterways. -
Public nuisance:
The condition of the property is a blight on the community and raises concerns about overall public safety.
